Why is it that after an hour of Hor D’Oeuvres, followed by a 3 course meal (at the very least!) and then cake we are still hungry!? As I have mentioned before, serving late night food has become very popular and acts as an alternative to doing favors. We are in luck because Mayor Menino recently approved the use of food trucks in Boston! Any food truck can participate in your wedding by following the simple guidelines onCityofBoston.com. Then you can pick your favorite chow on wheels for you and your guests to enjoy! Here are a few trucks that serve after 3 pm that had my mouth watering:
Who says you can’t have dessert twofold? It is the best part of the meal anyways! TheCupcakory Truck, typically parked in the Back Bay/Fenway area, serves fresh, old fashioned cupcakes. From Almond Joy to Salted Caramel, their many flavors will satisfy all of your guests! And in my opinion, their truck is one of the prettier ones around.
Two words – FRIED PICKLES! Roxy’s Grilled Cheese truck not only serves up innovative grilled cheeses with ingredients such as mac and cheese and short ribs, they also serve fried pickles! Famous for their Grillo’s spicy fried pickles, Roxy’s will steal the show on your big day!
A rookie to the Boston circuit, Momogoose was voted Best Food Truck in Boston 2010! With prime location in City Hall Plaza Momogoose dishes up our favorites such as crispy rolls and sesame teriyaki chicken! They also cater to vegetarian patrons so you can rest assure everyone will be happy!
